The Verve Fairway Wood is designed with an internal weight pad that positions the center of gravity farther back to cause higher ball flight and increase distance. Although many recent developments in technology are present in the head it still looks classic in the bag as well as in playing position. The face height is optimal for even fairway lies, but it will serve well on the tee box, too. The UST HDX 70 shaft is recommended for most players.
