Tour Edge Exotics XCG3 Hybrids The Tour Edge Exotics XCG3 Hybrids are the very first Exotics hybrid to feature a tungsten sole and maraging steel cup face and crown. The lightweight ultra-thin maraging steel cup face and crown launch the ball with less spin and faster speed. The majority of the club s weight is in the rear heel and toe of the sole. This set up is achieved by the heavy tungsten sole plate. Two internal weight pads improve sound, feel, and the center of gravity location for a more pure energy transfer at impact. Tungsten is twice as heavy as steel allowing even more weight to be placed below the ball for improved performance. The resulting center of gravity angle is extremely deep, helping the club face square at impact with more force for a quick launch and longer, more accurate shots. Raising the bar on distance capabilities, the club s super-thin 2.4mm face and deep center of gravity create an amazingly low spin rate for explosive power.
