"The BGS (Balanced Gravity System) mallet is designed and aimed specifically for the sophisticated and demanding golfer. It is the most advanced mallet in the balanced putter category. BGS putters combine technology and uncompromising performance, complemented by their precise aiming lineup. Center of Gravity: The center of gravity is precisely positioned behind the striking area of the putter face. The putter head consists of three major components: The body platform, which is made from pure aluminum alloy with specific gravity = 2.6 g/cm3, and the heel and toe weights, which are made from nickel chromium alloy with specific gravity = 8 g/cm3. Weight Balance: The weight balance is formed by distributing the mass of the BGS-33 putter s three components equally in three directions, thus forming a triangular weight distribution. One of the weights is strategically positioned toward the toe, while the second weight is positioned toward the heel. The combination of the high-density weights and the low-density body platform redistribute the center of gravity by pulling it toward the back of the putter head. With this precise center of gravity (CG) position, the polar moment of inertia (MOI) becomes very effective in preventing the putter head from twisting and delivers ultimate forgiveness. The benefit of back weighting is that it elevates the club during take away so you do not have to manipulate the club to generate topspin. Feel: Most face-insert putters use hard anodized aluminum, usually for color, which hardens the striking surface. BGS utilizes pure and untreated face inserts which provide for a natural, softer feel. Sound: BGS Putters incorporate two towers that are completely detached from the body face and separately positioned on a platform, using vibration-resistant materials. The concept of the towers is similar to that used in high-performance stereo speaker systems. Sound is caused by vibration of back towers, similar to a piano key being struck activating the strings."
