Golfsmith Spring Rod Grip Removal Tool : This extraordinarily simple yet effective tool removes grips with a minimum of effort and preserves them for re-installation. The spring-rod design improves the tool s efficiency by creating a channel for the grip solvent, allowing the solvent to penetrate into the grip faster and easier. The rounded edges and tip reduce damage to both the grip and graphite shafts. Lubricate the dual spring-rod blades with grip solvent, then work it under the mouth of the grip. Slide the tool up inside the butt end of the club (apply more solvent as necessary), then work the tool quickly around the circumference of the shaft. Both grip and tool slide off the shaft effortlessly. NOTE: this tool is not recommended for use with Winn grips.
