"Golfsmith Professional Speed Gripping Unit : The Golfsmith Professional Speed Gripping Unit optimizes efficiency. The unit has a clamping mechanism like most, but what sets this one apart is that there is no bottle of solvent to pick up and squirt with each grip. The unit has a tank filled with solvent that rests just below the butt of the shaft and the clamping mechanism is hinged to lower the taped butt end of the shaft into the solvent reservoir. The grip is then easily installed onto the solvent-quenched tape. Patterned after the gripping stations used in most large assembly houses in China, the Professional Speed Gripping Unit is a great tool for clubmakers who prefer using water activated grip tape.
