Big Bertha Fusion Fairway Woods utilize Fusion Technology, the same weight-shifting science used in the the Big Bertha Fusion FT-3 Driver. This technology uses multiple materials in clubhead construction to move more weight where it provides the most benefit to the golfer. Callaway s Fusion Technology combines a stainless steel face, sole and body with a lightweight carbon composite crown to create maximum perimeter weighting for exceptional stability on off-center hits. The carbon composite crown is stronger and lighter than an equivalent stainless steel crown, creating additional discretionary weight which is placed low and into the perimeter of the clubhead for improved launch parameters and more resistance to twisting. The stainless steel face, sole and body utilizes Variable Face Thickness (VFT) technology, and is fused in place with the crown, providing an ultra-low, optimized Center of Gravity (CG) for higher ball speed, a strong, high ball flight and power in every shot.
