It's slowly warming up again and your urge to go out and play a round is growing. You can't wait to get to the driving range and then hit the course.
Take it easy! Many golfers hibernate for two or three months during the winter. Due to inactivity their muscles and tendons used in the golf swing lose much their tone and elasticity, so once you finally get to play make sure you stretch and loosen up before you tee off. Golfers with a history of back problems should be particularly cautious, otherwise they may ruin the new season before it even begins.
Always keep in mind: relax and enjoy the early games. Don't overdo the physical parts, and don't bother about keeping score the initial few times out.
